While mixing chemicals in the kitchen, Dagwood inadvertently creates non-flammable paint, but two rival contractors steal the stuff before he can give it to his boss. The Bumsteads are anxious to go on their long-awaited and oft-postponed vacation, but once again, Mr. Radcliffe needs Dagwood to stick around a few more days to help close an important contract. Rather than face Blondie's ire by again making the Bumsteads postpone their vacation, Radcliffe decides to hire a couple of thugs to steal their luggage, forcing them to stay at home! Of course, in true Bumstead fashion, nothing works out the way it was planned! One of the final entries in the long-running "Blondie" film series. Based on the comic strip by Chic Young.1948 B&W. GREGORIO AND HIS ANGEL BRODERICK CRAWFORD An alcoholic janitor is fired from his job at an orphanage, and is befriended by an angel in the guise of a little girl, who proceeds to change his life. Broderick Crawford as a hopeless alcoholic who undergoes a trial of faith under the guidance of a pixie-ish "Angel". Filmed in Mexico but spoken in broken English by Mexican actors. Jerry Lewis clone Tin Tan plays a great devil in
several incarnations. The little angel-girl is kidnapped by the devil to become a carnival prophet. Former star of Highway Patrol Television series, Broderick Crawford, is stunning as the heartfelt drunk, in a role reminiscent of Charles Laughton in the haunting THE BEACHCOMBER. Color 1966

Wendy Lynn, Alan Hale, Juan Gonzales. Boy and a horse and story of intolerance. An young Indian boy falls off of a train and winds up in the care of a drunkard man. The boy shows the man his talent with horses and the man takes to him. The local people do not like the boy (because he is Native American) and they try their best to get rid of him, but the drunkard man decides to give up his booze and stand up for the boy! A down and out family of acrobats discover hidden piles of money in their house. Just as Durante is about to be charged with major crime, the source, a pet squirrel, is discovered to be the source of the money.

In this one, Lassie, compelled by burning hatred, tracks down the man who killed his beloved owner. After many years of prospecting, Jonathan finally strikes gold. He returns to town only to discover that his partner has since died and left Tommy fatherless. He decides to leave Shep (played by Lassie) with Tommy to cheer him up. Meanwhile, Jonathan's new partner, Lin, isn't interested in sharing the gold, and lures Jonathan to his death. Lassie immediately deduces what's happened, so Lin poisons Lassie. Lassie barely pulls through and pursues Lin to a climactic confrontation where, due to an off-screen accident with some liquid nitrogen, Lin's gun jams. Description: Stanlio & Ollio get into trouble when Ollio tries to get some cash by impersonating a famed singing bandit, but accidentally robs the real bandit! LAUREL and HARDY PARDON US Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, Walter Long, James Finlayson, June Marlowe This spoof of “The Big House” is Stan & Ollie’s first starring feature and finds The Boys’ going to prison for bootlegging. There they meet a dangerous crook who befriends them even though they ruin all of his escape plans and end up being pardoned for bravery! Contains some of The Boys’ most classic routines and cameos by Hal Roach and director James Parrott.  B&W 1931 66 mins.

LAUREL and HARDY UTOPIA  Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, Suzy Delair, Max Elloy, Suzet Mais, Robert Murzeau, Olivier Hussenot, Voice of Paul Frees. While on their way to claim an inherited island, Laurel & Hardy are shipwrecked on a newly formed atoll along with their small crew. When uranium is discovered, the boys claim ownership of the coral reef, setting up a form of government that attracts all sorts of disagreeable characters.

LITTLE PRINCESS Shirley Temple, Cesar Romero, Arthur Treacher, Ian Hunter, Anita Louise and Richard Green star is this lavish 20th Century Fox production direct by Walter Lang. This is Miss Temple's only film produced in Technicolor. This has to be one of the best melodrama films of  the era. The setting is Victorian England. When Shirley Temple's father is thought killed in the war she is left penniless and alone. She lives in the  unheated attic of a children's home. A great fantasy segment gives the curly haired tot a chance wring plenty of tears from the audience. 1930 Technicolor  

NEW ADVENTURES OF HEIDI  Burl Ives, Kathy Kurtzman, John Gavin. Warm hearted retelling of the family favorite. In this version is sent to live with hateful relatives in New York when it is believed that Grand Father (Burl Ives) is going blind. This made for TV Musical has ten songs. 1978 COLOR  82 Minutes.

MR. BUGS GOES TO TOWN The screen's first full-length musical comedy cartoon. Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams (narrator) Kenny Gardner, Gwen Williams, Jack Mercer, Ted Pierce, Stan Freed, Pauline Roth, Pinto Colvig. Hoppity the grasshopper finds that all is not well when he returns home to Bugville, a vacant lot just 45 inches from Broadway. A skyscraper is scheduled to be built on the site, throwing all his friends and relatives from their homes. Not only that, his girlfriend Honey Bee is being forced to marry the villainous C. Bagley Beetle. All will be saved if only Dick and Mary, the songwriting humans who own the land, can find the money to build the home of their dreams, thereby also providing a new home for the Bugville residents. But Beetle has other ideas and, with the help of his bumbling but hearts-of-gold henchmen Swat and Smack, intercepts Dick's hefty royalty check. Created by Dave Fleischer. Max Fleischer Studio (Creator of Popeye color two reel cartoons)  Wonderful animated feature that was overshadowed by Disney's Snow White. This film  was aka "Hoppity Goes to Town". MOOCH GOES TO HOLLYWOOD aka MOOCH Vincent Price , Jim Backus, Jill St. John, James Darren, Mickey Rooney, Edward G. Robinson, Phyllis Diller, Sam Jaffe, Dick Martin, Darren McGavin, David Wayne, Cesar Romero. Narrated by Zsa Zsa Gabor and Richard Burton. Mooch visits tinseltown to try to get into show biz with the help of his Hollywood friends. The scruffy little dog is actually Benji in his fist screen role! Benji's owner and trainer, Frank Inman also has a bit part in the film loaded with animal actors or all kinds. Writen by Jim Backus (Mr. Magoo of cartoon fame and the wealthy man on Gilligan's Island. 1971 Color. Running Time: 55 mins

PIED PIPER OF HAMELIN, THE (1957, BW, 87 MIN) Van Johnson, Kay Starr, Claude Rains, Jim Backus, directed by Bretaigne Windust, produced by Hal Stanley. Colorful musical adaptation with Van Johnson as the forlorn piper seeking to have Hamelin's Mayor, Claude Rains, keep his promise of payment for ridding the village of its rodent population by threatening to rid the town of all its children as well.

PINOCCHIO Sandy Dennis, Flip Wilson and Danny Kaye. Charming made for TV musical. This tuneful children's adventure offers another retelling of the classic tale of a marionette who achieves his dream of becoming a real live boy. Color USA 1976 76 Minutes made for TV.  

RESCUE FROM GILLIGAN'S ISLAND Bob Denver, Alan Hale Jr., Jim Bacus and the cast from the TV series in this made for TV Special. Eleven years after the network cancellation of Gilligan's Island, the crew and passengers of the ill-fated S. S. Minnow returned to the small screen in Rescue from Gilligan's Island. The cast remains the same, with one significant change. Bob Denver plays inveterate bumbler Gilligan, Alan Hale is the long-suffering Skipper, Jim Backus and Natalie Schafer are the fabulously wealthy Mr. and Mrs. Thurston Howell III, Russell Johnson is the resourceful Professor, and Dawn Wells, as perky as ever, is Mary Ann. Tina Louise wanted no part of any Gilligan's Island reunion, so her role-perennial starlet Ginger Grant-is filled by Judith Baldwyn. The premise: a huge tidal wave transports the seven castaways back to civilization. While they're thrilled to be back in the real world, none of the seven are able to adjust to life outside the island....least of all Gilligan, who on top of all his other problems must contend with a pair of enemy agents in search of a device Gilligan picked up on the island. While taking a sentimental plane journey over the island, the castaways are forced to crash-land, and the story comes full circle. 1978 COLOR 100 Minutes.

Rupert The Great Terry Moore, Jimmy Durante This is a heartwarming holiday classic about a New York family (led by Durante) who is down on their luck at Christmas time. Shortly before Christmas, they move into a ground floor apartment where Rupert the squirrel lives in the attic rafters. Just when it seems that the holiday will come and go without so much as a Christmas tree, Rupert acts as the family's guardian angel, not only saving Christmas, but changing their lives forever. The film is enlivened with the warmth and sweetness of an unforgettable love story between Terry Moore (of Mighty Joe Young) and Tom Drake (of Meet Me in St. Louis). Rupert the Squirrel (created using George Pal's Academy Award winning animation technique) will charm young and old alike. RUN TO THE HIGH COUNTRY Erik Larsen, Karen Steele, Alvin Keeswood, Keith Larson. A Young boy on a horse ranch puts his life on the line in order to save his animal friends from hunters. One of the most pleasing aspects of this film is it's gorgeous Utah location photography. Filmed in Kanab, Utah. Written Directed and Produced by Keith Larson.1974 Color 97 minutes.

SEVEN ALONE Aldo Ray, Dewey Martin, Dean Smith. A fictionalized account of the real-life adventure of the Sager family. Travelling with a wagon train from Missouri to Oregon, things are going well for the Sagers, until father Sager dies from blood poisoning following an Indian attack, and mother Sager dies soon afterward from pneumonia. The leaders of the wagon train decide to send the children back, but the oldest, John (who had been described by all the adults as lazy and worthless), decides to lead his siblings through the wilderness to complete the journey their parents started. Along the lines of Little House in the Prarrie. AKA "House Without Windows". 1974 Color 97 Minutes.

SNOW QUEEN Sandra Dee, Tommy Kirk. Paul Frees and June Foray  provide voices for this animated classic based on a Hans Christian Anderson Christmas tale. Opening sequence with Art Linkletter and children set up the story. Color 1960 77 minutes.

THE LITTLE BROWN CHRISTMAS BURRO. Lorne Green, Bonnie Books, Paul Soles. Animated Short. A warm hearted about a little brown burro. This Christmas story is narrated by Lorne Green. 

TOBY MCTEAQUE An Alaska wilderness family keeps a string of sled dogs for sport and survival. Described by critics as a ‘Disney like’ film. Plenty of action with dog races and dramatic rescues. Toby McTeague (Yannick Bisson) is a teen-aged boy, living in a flyspeck town in Northern Canada with his father and younger brother. Toby's thriving livelihood, raising and training sled dogs, is threatened by a dip in the local economy. His problems are intensified by the ongoing hostilities between Toby and his dad (Winston Reckert). Running away from home, Toby makes the acquaintance of elderly Indian chief George Wild Dog (George Clutesi), who years earlier had been "shaman," or spiritual advisor, to Toby's father. It is Chief Wild Dog who mystically brings father and son together at the film's climax, in addition to rescuing Toby's sled-dog business in a near-miraculous fashion. . Color 1987 94 Canada PG 

TREASURE ISLAND,  Orson Welles. Colorful cast retells Stevenson’s Classic tale This international production of Treasure Island is one of many film versions of the classic adventure by Robert Louis Stevenson. Kim Burfield plays Jim Hawkins, a young man who works at a pub with his mother (Maria Rohm). When drunken old sailor Billy Bones (Lionel Stander) comes in for a drink and dies, Jim gets his hands on an old pirate's treasure map. He then enlists the help of Squire Trelawney (Walter Slezak) and Dr. Livesey (Angel DelPozo) to join him locate the island on the map. They join the ship lead by Captain Smollett (Rik Battaglia). The ship's cook, Long John Silver (Orson Welles), has convinced the rest of the crew to organize a mutiny in order to keep the riches for themselves. .  Color I973 94 minutes Spain/Italy/GB/France/IUSA/West Germany  

WACKIEST WAGON TRAIN IN THE WEST aka GILLIGAN GOES WEST Bob Denver is a role much like his sea going character plagues a wagon train heading west. This comical western chronicles the silly adventures of a bumbling wagonmaster and his clutzy assistant as they attempt to take seven passengers across the prairie. Among the passengers are two wealthy Bostonians, an aspiring showgirl, a teacher, and bachelor. (Sound familiar?) The story is adapted from Dusty's Trail, a television sitcom 1977 Color 86 Minutes
